About ESA 2020

The Milset Expo-Sciences Asia (ESA) 2020 is the largest event in UAE focusing exclusively on the scientific creativity of young aspirant scientists from all over the world. ESA is an initiative of Asia office of the International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET), a non-governmental, non-profit and politically independent youth organization, which aims at developing scientific culture among young people through the organization of science-and-technology programs. The ESA is one of the cultural and scientific events of Expo 2020 Dubai, a global event that focuses on ‘Connecting Minds and Making the Future’, stimulating innovative ideas and finding appropriate solutions to achieve a better and brighter future, The Emirates Science Club has the great pleasure to host and, together with MILSET, organize the ESA 2020 that will take place from 12 to 15 December 2020, at The Culture & Scientific Association . We welcome to Dubai all the young scientists coming to from Asia and all counties of the world, to participate to ESA2020. It’s a unique chance for all of you to exchange ideas and compare scientific projects fostering networking and international collaboration. Hosting the Expo-Sciences ASIA 2020 in Dubai represents to us a great opportunity of bringing together the bright minds of hundreds of youths like you, sharing the common interest of adding a little but valuable contribution to scientific innovation. We are truly committed to further fuel your ambitions by creating a global hub to promote science and research that may represent the stepping-stone for future Emirati scientists. ESA Objectives

• Install and animate a space to highlight youngsters, teachers and leaders’ efforts and interest in research, science and technology innovation by enhancing their motivation while contributing to their personal development.
• Establish relationships with other institutions with similar goals through the development of scientific, technical and social projects in order to exchange ideas and create actions according to the needs of today’s world, for the benefit of the industry, the educational sector and society as whole.
• Be represented at an international level through the young people’s projects, allowing for the dissemination of knowledge amongst the main target audience (in other words, the young).
• Promote scientific culture in a multicultural environment, creating the space for experience and good practices to be shared so as to achieve higher-standard scientific activities.

ESA History

The Expo-Sciences Asia is a biennial event of the duration of approximately one week while the exhibition of the projects is open to the public for three days. Each edition of the ESA is host by a different member country of MILSET. The first Expo-Sciences Asia was organized in 2010 (ESA 2010) in Kuwait and received a great welcome by the young scientific community. during the ESA 2010 marked the beginning of a successful series of Expo-Science Asia that took place in Asian counties reaching the 6th edition in 2020.
